Rheingau
Youthful nose, medium intensity of peach and pear fruit. Off-dry. Mediium acidity and body, low alcohol. Soft mouthfeel. Medium intensity of peach fruit and minerals on the palate. Medium to long finish.
Very good. Excellent balance of fruit and minerality, quite unusual in this price category. Soft but not oily mouthfeel, very pleasant.
Pale lemon colour. Clean, developing nose with medium intensity of apricot, grapefruit and mineral aromas. Dry, medium(-) acidity and medium body. Rather weak intensity of melon and pear fruit, along with old wood. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium alcohol and length.
Good. A bit shy on the mid-palate, due to the slight lack of acidity. Not a wine of the category "fresh and fruit-driven", but shows a pleasant overall balance and well-integrated old wood. Reminded me of an Alsatian Riesling.
Clear, pale straw colour. Clean and youthful on the nose with medium intensity of peach and gunflint aromas. Off-dry, almost sweet with crisp acidity. Medium body and overall intensity. Ripe peach, smoke, white pepper and minerality. Low alcohol. Medium finish.
Good. The relative high amount of residual sugar is well balanced by a crisp, refreshing acidity. The peach fruit prevails but there is also a good amount of minerality. Drink now but will most certainly keep for at least 5 years.
