Ararat, Victoria

Riesling 2005

Pale lemon color. Clean, youthful nose with a medium intensity of citrus, pear drops and some minerality. The palate is dry with medium acidity and both body. Medium(+) alcohol. Rather weak intensity of citrus and pear and slight mineral character. Medium long length with spicy finish.

Refreshing, but rather low on the fruit expression. Nice, spicy finish makes up a bit for the lack of a mid-palate. Drink now.
